Green Earth Group will be taking part in a Working Bee & Camping Trip at Cariad Farm Animal Sanctuary on the weekend of Friday 20th - Sunday 22 May Cariad Farm is located at 376 Findon Creek Road, Findon Creek (near Kyogle), Northern Rivers, New South Wales:
COST: $40 per day (no charge for Friday) for food and non-alcholic drinks for Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner $20 per day for children and Green Earth Group members
Warm clothes for cold weather and camping gear a must - it will get very cold at the farm, especially at night. Please CONTACT US by Monday May 16 to RSVP, for more info and to organise car pooling

NOTE: this is a Working Bee & Camping Trip, we will have fun when we work, but this is not a primarily SOCIAL ACTIVITY and some physical work is required. Please contact Cariad to organise a less physical excersion and/or tour of the farm for another time. |
We will be participating in various activities around the farm including: planting trees, mowing, weeding/slashing/collecting bedding, collecting food, chopping wood, pruning fruit trees, planting winter crops, fencing/building and other chores related to farm work. Darren will also be able to speak about sustainable living and can give some how-do demonstrations in relation to permaculture, solar energy, rainwater collection, compost toilets and more.
